Restaurants can recreate the link between consumers and farmers. This is what our newest partner is accomplishing by diversifying its activities.
“Kod Lipe” is a restaurant in Štrpce/Shterpce since 30 years. In 2018 the family started production of fruit juices made of raspberry, blueberry, peach, apple, pear and mixed fruits and compotes of blueberry and raspberry, mainly selling in their own restaurant and to other local businesses. The raw material is 100% sourced locally. We are collaborating with the owners to expand and modernize production of natural juices and compotes by supporting them to complete the processing line with several pieces of equipment.
More production means increased opportunities for local farmers to engage in contract farming, and create at least 5 new jobs.
